At 80 miles north west, and only two hours from Panama City, "El Valle" ,is a paradise. 1,950 ft. above sea level, a beautiful town nestled where thousand of years ago used to be the great crater of a volcano, it has a fresh and pleasant climate. A unique place where you can observe many unusual natural wonders; like the golden frogs, and the square trees. At the district of "La Pintada", only few minutes by car, we can see the hieroglyphics stones, still without explanation....come and make your own conclusions! In addition "El Valle" offers a picturesque market of indigenous handcrafts, plants and flowers. Do not forget to ask your tour guide about the legend of "La india Dormida" (The Sleepy Indian Girl)
